Where do you fit?SugarCRM is looking for a highly motivated, quality focused, QA Engineer (Mobile) with experience working with browser, mobile, and QA automation tools. As an individual contributor of the engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scenario based end to end tests, improving and evolving our automated testing environment, as well as participating in our manual QA efforts. You understand the importance of automated testing and continuous delivery. Data informs the decisions you make and you can't imagine a world without metrics and instrumentation throughout the software systems you test. You have a passion for delivering high quality systems, and enjoy participating in an agile cloud environment with continuous delivery.Impact you will make in the role:- Develop test automation suites for mobile and web apps
- Report bugs in Jira and collaborate closely with developers in resolving them
- Help troubleshoot issues. Ability to not only find a defect but also narrow it down to the root cause.
- Manual regression testing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Work as an agile member of a combined development and test team, running in short cycles to develop functional software in quick iterations.
- Collaborate on testing strategies and testing tools
- Develop focused test plans
- Working knowledge of mobile operating systems such as iOS and Android.
What you will need to succeed:- 5+ years experience in manual testing of software products
- 5+ years experience writing scenario based test plans for software products
- 5+ years experience in writing trouble tickets and reproduction steps
- 5+ years experience testing high performance, highly scalable and highly available distributed software products
- Ability to communicate with both technical and nontechnical audiences
- Basic understanding of JavaScript (no frameworks), CSS, HTML
- Fluent in English and Romanian
- A background in mobile app development, and strong programming fundamentals
- Experience providing QA for mobile, web, and back-end services
- Someone capable of writing and executing manual tests for mobile apps
Good to Have- Experience converting test cases from legacy platforms to modern tooling
- Experience with no code/low code QA automation platforms
- Experience with developer environment tools, like Docker and Kubernetes
