We are looking for a Credit and Collections Intern to join our team at 8x8 in Romania. This is an amazing learning opportunity and a chance to kick-start your career in collections.
As a Credit and Collections Intern, you will interact with all levels of management, internally and externally, to improve profitability and the collection cycle. The Collections team serves as the main point of contact in identifying and resolving issues that impact receivables (cashflow).

- Reconcile customers’ accounts in a timely manner, as well as keeping the portfolio as accurate as possible
- Identify and resolve issues that impede the collection of the debt
- Ensure the customers’ requirements are met on a monthly basis, vis-à-vis the invoices raised
- Initiate and maintain complete, accurate, and updated records of contacts, collection activities, and account reconciliations
- Reach out to customers or internal departments, to collect payment for overdue invoices and to solve customer disputes, by telephone and email
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with customers
What we’re looking for- Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn and grow in a fluid and dynamic environment
- Attention to detail without losing focus of the big picture
- Motivated self-starter who can work well independently as well as part of a team
- A high standard of written and spoken English, with great attention to detail
Big plus- Higher education in related discipline
- MS Excel knowledge
- Problem solving and negotiation skills preferred
Internship details- Location: Cluj-Napoca
- Format: hybrid (work from home and from the office)
- Positions: 1
- Internship start date: July 24th, 2023
- Internship end date: September 30th, 2023
- Work schedule: full-time (8 hrs/ day), Monday to Friday
