Job Description
pubGENIUS is a React.js +Next.js development agency and ad tech startup. We are looking for stellar developers to join our team to build websites and apps for clients in the US and Europe. We specialize in decentralized finance e specialize in decentralized finance (Defi/Crypto/NFT/blockchain), fintech, and healthcare verticals, but occasionally serve others as well such as e-commerce.
You will join the agency team of +/- 15 people (developers, 2 project managers, and 1 designer). All of your projects will have a PM to keep the backlog organized and handle client communications; you will most likely be working with at least 1 other developer on your first projects and receive mentorship from senior developers within the company. Communicating with team members and stakeholders about feature requests, bugs, and general progress. Participate in code reviews, planning sessions, and architectural discussions, and contribute your idea.
Salary: Negotiable depending on ability and experience ($60K-$80K)
Contract type: Permanent or long-term contractors considered from any region;

If you have:
- Value clear communication. You recognize the importance of clear communication, documented planning, and transparent, frequent feedback.
- Deep expertise with React Native . You know all the ins and outs of React Native/Expo/Firebase, are intimately familiar with deployment and release processes for the App/Play Stores, and have an arsenal of favourite tools and libraries (e.g. Reanimated, Moti, Lottie, and more) you love to bring to projects you work on.
- Will to work in a dynamic, friendly and comfortable atmosphere, PubGenius might be the perfect place for that.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience with Typescript, Javascript, React Native;
- Experience with Firebase, Expo;
- Experience working in an early-stage engineering team, working through ambiguity, and being a self-starter;
- A passion for helping people find meaningful work that works for them.
Big pluses but not a must to have is:
- Strong expertise with iOS native development (using Swift/Objective-C and their development tools) and/or Android native development (using Java/Kotlin);
- Comfortable developing or at least debugging backend code;
- Experience with Ethereum Web3 frameworks and technologies, especially on mobile;
- Knowledge/experience working on mobile cryptocurrencies/wallets;
- Experience developing mobile financial applications.
You Will
- Write amp; review high quality, performant code for their React Native mobile app, integrated with Firestore, Firebase Auth, and Firebase Cloud Functions
- Inform key product amp; infrastructure decisions, with an eye towards scalability
- Collaborate with designers to implement pixel-perfect, eye-pleasing UIs
- Add analytics amp; monitoring to help understand our user experience amp; application health;
