Deviqon Labs is looking for an experienced, technical individual to join the Quality Assurance Team in Cluj-Napoca. We are opening a new position that will oversee several crucial projects inside Deviqon Labs. As a member of this team you will be responsible for ensuring that products and services meet the established standards set by the company. Duties include maintaining strong overall quality control of products made by the company adhering to reliability, performance and customer expectation. Inspection of products is part of the job with the obligation to report and document findings.
The quality assurance specialist’s responsibilities include developing and implementing quality assurance policies, writing test cases, conducting tests and inspections, identifying production, process, or product issues, and presenting solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain test automation frameworks
- Suggest and make framework enhancements to accommodate the scripting needs
- Write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically
- Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system
- Determine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios
- Create reports documenting errors and issues for fixing
- Work closely with the development team to improve existing products
Requirements
Mandatory skills and qualifications- Some programming knowledge, e.g. Python, Shell, PowerShell, JavaScript
- Analytical skills Analytically examine bug reports, prioritize necessary tests, and streamline application functions through automated testing processes
- Great team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Communication skills Strong verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with the engineering team and create testing plans and written reports showing errors
- Automation testing tools: Selenium, Node.js
- API testing tools that require strong coding skills to create tests: REST Assured, RestSharp, jMeter, etc.
- Continuous Integration tools - Jenkins, Bit bucket, Github
Optional skills and knowledge
- Decoupled web application (frontend, backend, nginx routing) experience
- Video technologies experience
- Docker and Kubernetes knowledge
- Experience with Agile methodology is preferred
- Experience with Jira and XRAY is a plus
