Job Description
We are looking for a Automation Engineer who can manage medium sized automation projects. Capable of automated test planning and writing for one or more specific product areas. The role will have communication and escalation responsibilities and will work under the direction of a QA Lead.
Responsibilities:
- Automation Point of Contact (POC) for a medium scope automation project
- Responsible for coordinating automation efforts with QA team, product and engineering teams
- Identify key testing challenges / goals and develop initial test automation code
- Prioritize which test automation code to build first
- Communicates the plan / updates / status of product automation effectively to the QA lead, product and engineering teams
- Works effectively with stakeholders to do root cause analysis, solve issues and increase automation coverage
Requirements
- At least 4 years of total test automation experience on UI, API and Mobile
- 3+ years of UI Automation experience using JavaScript based automation frameworks such as Nightwatch, Cypress, WebdriverIO, Selenium etc.
- 3+ years of API Automation experience using Rest-Assured, TestNG, Cucumber, Pytest, Karate, etc.
- 3+ years of Mobile automation experience using Appium, Espresso, XCUItest, etc.
- Languages: JavaScript, Python, Java, etc.
- Cloud: 3+ years of experience with either AWS, Azure or GCP
- CI/CD: Jenkins, Travis, Spinnaker, etc.
- Knowledge: SQL, NoSQL, Docker
- Operating systems: Linux, Windows and Mac
