Together with our Client, we’re building and operating a complex legal tech product which has significant market share in Germany and a high operational load and SLAs. The tech stack is based on PHP, Symfony, RabbitMQ, K8s, AWS and is generally in good shape and fairly modern. The architecture is event driven and service based.
Tech stack: PHP, PHP Unit, Symfony, React, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Elastic Search, Golang, AWS.
Location: Kraków, Lublin, or Remote from EU
Salary:
B2B: 25 000 - 28 000 PLN NET / 5000 - 5 800 Euro Gross/month
CoE: 23 000 - 26 000 PLN NET / 4700 - 5 300 Euro Net/month
Responsibilities:
- Developing and improving services that support our platforms and products
- Developing and improving automation of common repeatable tasks and processes
- Working closely with architects to constantly improve our software delivery process, identifying bottlenecks in the process and removing them
- Collaborating with other engineers and QA leads as a valuable member of a cross-functional team
- Taking operational responsibility for the services that you and your team build
- Switch identity providers
- Evaluate alternatives to ES cache and implement a solution
- Evaluate alternatives to self built and hosted solutions (e.g. custom API gateway) and help us switch to a more maintainable solution
- Set up a modern solution for integration testing PHP services that have dependencies towards each other
Requirements
Requirements
- Solid experience (min. 5 years) as in web applications
- Very good knowledge of PHP7, Symfony and PHP Unit
- Familiar with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AWS
- Nice to have: RabbitMQ, Elastic Search, Golang
- Very good English skills both spoken and written (B2)
- Open-minded, resourceful and enthusiastic, delivers excellently both in a team and independent assignments
- Interested in keeping up with current best practices in your areas of expertise
- A minimum of B.S. degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Maths or similar field
