Job Description
We are looking for a Data Engineer Intern that would help and learn from the existing team in our journey into the cyber risk data world.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN in your journey:
- Data Mining collecting, structuring and inspecting new data. The goal is to discover not obvious patterns and extract valuable insight. Multiple sources of data will be accessed, with the challenge of determining if the amount of obtained data is of good quality and it is usable. This will be done both manual and automatic (where possible).
- ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) generic process in which data is acquired using the techniques described above, then CHANGED and PROCESSED and is finally LOADED into a data structure/warehouse or other files such as EXCEL, CSV, etc.
- Practical Statistics for Data Science foundational knowledge needed to understand different models and various techniques, a baseline for concepts involved in data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence. Using these new acquired skills, you will be able to perform different types of analytics on the data, such as descriptive, diagnostic, predictive or prescriptive ones.
