Job Description
Here at Mindera, we are continuously developing a fantastic team, and would love it for you to join us. As a Lead Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for building fluid and responsive user interfaces for multiple platforms and devices.
We are looking for senior-level / lead developers with at least five to six years of experience with Vanilla JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks and an appetite for solving complex problems and building seamless user interactions to world-class standards.
Expected travelling time (international): 0%-15%, varies according to project/client.
Requirements
Essential Skills
- Strong experience and understanding of Agile ways of working within a Development context
- Advanced experience working with Vanilla JavaScript (ES5/ES6)
- Advanced experience writing semantic and accessible HTML
- Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Vue, React and/or Angular
- Advanced experience writing responsive CSS; have excellent understanding of CSS pre-processors such as SASS and LESS.
- Experience with version control especially Git within a large development team.
- Experienced with a background in Digital and eCommerce with proven experience developing front end applications in a modular and extensible way
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices for performance optimisations, accessibility and usability.
- Keen to learn and to challenge for smarter ways of doing things. You will have an interest in innovative ideas and technologies to help you achieve team goals
- Focused and self-motivated . Ability to work effectively to drive projects to completion
- Customer focused. You will have the maturity and initiative to do what it takes to achieve results with the end customer always at the forefront
- Experience using a task runner or build tooling such as Grunt/Gulp or Webpack
- Experience building Developer testing frameworks such as Jest and Cypress
Nice to have
- Working in a Dev-Ops led environment, where Quality is a team responsibility
- Working knowledge of AEM v6.X, proven experience on using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) CMS and Product Catalogues
- Good understanding of web analytics and working with technologies such as Tealium and/or Google Analytics
- Good understanding of SEO principles
- Experience with CSS methodologies (BEM, SMACSS)
