Job Description
As the Frontend AQA Tech Lead at Logifuture, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving quality assurance practices across all AQA teams within the organisation, with a strong focus on frontend technologies. While not directly managing AQA teams, your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in ensuring that the correct methodologies and best practices are applied. Additionally, you will serve as the primary driver for the Frontend AQA Guild, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across the entire Logifuture group.
Responsibilities
- Take the lead in establishing and leading the Frontend AQA Guild for the entire group, fostering knowledge sharing, collaboration, and the development of best practices
- Provide guidance on the correct methodologies, tools, and approaches for frontend testing, including test planning, automation, and manual testing.
- Mentor and coach AQA professionals across various teams, helping them develop their skills and knowledge in frontend testing
- Promote and facilitate the adoption of best practices in frontend quality assurance, including test automation, performance testing, and cross-browser compatibility
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and AQA teams to ensure seamless integration of frontend testing into the development lifecycle
- Define and maintain frontend-specific quality standards and guidelines, ensuring consistency and excellence in frontend QA
- Organise training sessions and workshops for AQA teams to enhance their frontend testing skills and knowledge
- Review and provide feedback on frontend test plans, test cases, and automation scripts developed by AQA teams
- Ensure the documentation of frontend testing practices and standards is readily accessible and up-to-date for reference by all AQA professionals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Extensive experience in frontend software quality assurance with a strong focus on frontend testing methodologies and technologies
- Proven leadership and mentorship skills
- In-depth knowledge of frontend development technologies and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks specific to frontend testing
- Certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., ISTQB) with an emphasis on frontend testing
- Previous experience in a similar group-level or advisory role and experience with online gambling as B2C will be considered an asset
