As an Entry-level Game Engineer at PTW Gaming Services, you will be an essential part of our development team, assisting in the implementation of game systems, features, and mechanics based on design and technical specifications. Collaborating closely with the art and design teams, you will integrate assets and ensure proper functionality, contributing to the seamless development of our AA/AAA games. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of game systems, features, and mechanics based on design and technical specifications, supporting the overall game development process.
- Collaborate effectively with the art and design teams, integrating assets into the game engine and ensuring proper functionality.
- Utilize basic knowledge of game engines such as Unity and Unreal Engine, as well as programming languages like C++, C#, and Python, to contribute to the development of game features.
- Familiarize yourself with version control systems and bug tracking software to ensure efficient teamwork and issue resolution.
- Demonstrate a proactive attitude and willingness to learn, contributing to the continuous improvement of your skills and game development expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Game Development.
- A passion for gaming and a keen interest in game development.
- Basic knowledge of game engines, such as Unity or Unreal Engine, and programming languages like C++, C#, or Python.
- Familiarity with version control systems and bug tracking software is a plus.
- Relevant experience or completed game development projects (internships, personal projects, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and adapt to dynamic project requirements.
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude towards tackling new challenges in game development.
